# WhereAbout Features

**Recommendations**

We enabled recommendations for the WhereAbout users via the $WAT token in the application. Each recommendation is executed as a group of smart contracts, wherein the users leverage their influence in the WhereAbout points. Every recommendation made by the user results in a vote or and will be stored on the blockchain for transparency.

**WhereAbout Tokens as a reward**

The WhereAbout or $WAT tokens are called WhereAbout Points in the mobile application. WhereAbout Tokens can be earned by the user for his input and activity in the mobile application. WhereAbout Tokens can be spent in your favorite WhereAbout point nearby for drinks and food. The more WhereAbout Tokens you own, the more influence you have and the higher your ranking will be. Are you ready to become the first WhereAbout influencer or critic?

**Promotions and offers for the WhereAbout users**

The WhereAbout points can accept the WhereAbout Tokens in their business and offer drinks and food in return. The collected WhereAbout Tokens can be used by the business owner to boost events, promotions and offers in the WhereAbout app. These offers will be sent to the users nearby the business’s location or within the app at the event section. By using the WhereAbout Tokens as a promotional tool, the business owner will attract more people in his business and boost his revenue.
